      A few days ago I saw a few Common Redpolls! This is technically an "irruptive" year for winter finches so I have seen a LOT! of them this year. Something I would keep an eye out for, who knows maybe next year there wont be as many. But I took advantage of this opportunity and got an ok.... picture! but a great experience and even though not the best quality it was fairly lucky ! I have been growing my bird photography a little and here are some of redpolls!IMG_5429IMG_5411IMG_5417

      I was fortunate to watch a flock of Common Redpolls in Juneau, Alaska this past January.  It was the first time I encountered them, a real treat in the shadowy, cold and snow!
