      • I am not completely sure it was a Great horned owl , But it was definitely an owl. These were its features:
      • It was grey, brown, and black
      • It was Large and I saw it this month on the 17.
      • It had a deep hooting call
      • It pooped in our yard, and it was green and white. I forgot to take pictures, otherwise I would show you.

      Did it have feather tufts on its head? If you compare pics of owls in AllAboutBirds.org, or another field guide, you can probably find a match, or at least narrow the possibilities.

      did it have big black eyes? if so, it could be a barred owl
