This being my first landscape in color it was a task i used a complimentary colors.

What a lesson for a B&W lifetime approach . More fun.

A very interesting approach I found that adding the color pattern helped with the shape. Upside down added concentration details to define shape.

These basic skills are important and with constant attention they show the skills forgotten or passed over in the time you were and are drawing. Refreshment is not easy but is rewarding.

1. Drawing form a photo to me is a mechanical activity the challenging was illustrating areas that aperard flat and trying to find the view point of the photo. 2.Yes the way the bird holds on to the branch wow! it sure would make a difference.
