I thought Roger Road in Arizona was more aquatic in nature (like a lake or pond) since I found swimming birds.  Mount Lemmon in Arizona was more like a scrub shrub because there were chicken like birds, hummingbirds, fliers, raptors and owls.  In London at the Down House it seemed to be more urban with Pigeon and Dove, songbirds and fliers.  Seven Oaks London had an aquatic nature (maybe a lake) with swimming birds; ducks, seabirds; gulls, pigeons and doves and fliers.  This was hard a hard exercise!

I watched and heard some birds at The Cornell Lab Feeder Cam.  I recognized the call of the red-wing blackbird and downy woodpecker.  They both came to eat.  The red-wing black bird ate several seeds at a time whereas the cardinal ate one seed at a time from the tray.  The black capped chickadee ate one seed at a time from the tube feeder.  The downy woodpecker took a quite a bit of time to eat from the center feeder and ate a lot at once.  It was fun to see all the activity!

Topic 1.  I have a Barn Owl print by Mort Solberg and was curious to learn about the Barn Owl and its song.  I also like to see the Blue Heron when I go to the zoo so I was curious to hear the song of the Blue Heron.   Topic 3.  I have a hummingbird feeder in my backyard.  One hummingbird in particular is I think the Allen's hummingbird.  It is my favorite!  It has an iridescent coat with a pink throat.  The body is green in color and is slender compared with the Anna's hummingbird.  It brings me such happiness to see all of the different hummingbirds feed from the feeder!  It is such a blessing!
