I really enjoyed this! It was almost meditative just drawing shapes, and I found I concentrated more on the negative space between shapes that when I am trying to draw the 'whole' subject all at once. It was also exciting towards the end when I could see it coming together. He ended up being a little bit chubby - but overall happy with it!
I became really absorbed with drawing the individual capillary like patterns on this leaf, which when i was done resembled both a lung and a river system, beautiful pattern! I walk past this plant everyday, and have never stopped to really look at it - I am really enjoying this opportunity to finally pay attention to the complexity of something as simple as a leaf.
My first time drawing a 3D object! I have never paid attention to the light and dark values of anything before, so it was fun to see everyday fruit and veg from a different perspective.
