I was inspired to start nature journaling because I wanted to become a better birder. I wanted to be able to identify the birds by sight, sound or even behavior. I wanted something tangible to carry with me to track my progress. I also wanted to learn how to draw my surroundings, so I could immerse myself more deeply in the natural world. More importantly, I just wanted to document my experience in nature. To have something to look back on, and maybe share with people.
First assignment. draw the yellow warbler. It took me 40 min 😆
