We have had great horned owls nest in a cliff wall accross the street from our house the last 2 years. They came out and sat by the opening of the nest for a week or 2, staring at my chicken coop. Sure enough, this was the owls fledgling flight, it flew in to the chicken run then couldn't get out. Quite an ordeal!
