Does anyone here use the Merlin sound app on their phone to identify birds they hear? One suggestion I heard was it was a good idea to get an external microphone to enhance the pickup of sounds. Does anyone use one they could recommend. Obviously not wanting to spend and arm and a leg just something that will do a decent job. TIA.
