Watching the September and October skies and they are very quiet.  I've only seen two flocks of Canadian Geese, one in late September and another in early October, and they were both flying north.  Might be local flocks?  But usually by mid-October there are many flocks flying south for the winter.  Curious.  Is anyone else seeing a difference with the fall migration?  Weather is supposed to turn colder this week in higher elevations in Oregon.
