      no image. sorry. Closer to an Indigo Bunting than anything else, but rear half of bird was solid black. Don't know if that is known color phase. Bird Guides point out that Indigo Buntings are solid blue and I have seen them before. This one was half black and the blue was a lighter shade of blue. And maybe a little less slender than an Indigo Bunting. Wing coloration was like that of the Indigo Bunting. Best guess is that this individual was somewhat immature. If not for the rear half of the bird being solid black, I'd call it an Indigo Bunting. Sighted 4/21/2024 in Pleasant Garden, NC Any help with ID much appreciated.
