      Hello all,

Last spring and throughout this winter, our house seems to be on the receiving end of a male cardinal attacking three windows and our chimney stack for our wood stove.  He flies at these surfaces repeatedly leaving all sorts of red coloured smears on the windows.  He moves from the chimney stack, to the rear window and then to the front windows. I worry that he is hurting himself, let alone my windows!

We have white reflective bird decals on the windows given previous window strikes. In addition, we have tried placing a picture of a cat on the window, glitter tape and metal reflective streamers.

Nothing has worked so far so seeking the wisdom of you all.

I totally get that the behaviour is natural but I wish to redirect it from my house!

      Thank you.
