      Had to look this one up. Even though everything else was telling me goldfinch, I never knew they went through this coloration. I love the rusty orange secondary tips and back coverts, and this color also forms a band around its neck.DSC_6877

      Nice photo!  Such a variation in colors, I don't think I've seen one like this.  I see them go from winter to spring colors but all adults.
