Prior to spending hundreds on binoculars, I bought an inexpensive 12 x 42 binocular.  I prefer the 12 X magnification in spite of the limited field of view.  Unfortunately, the center focus and diopter focus do not quite make up for the difference in focus between my eyes. I have seen nothing in binocular specs regarding focal differences between two eyes.  How can I tell if a set of binocular will allow focus of eyes with differing vision? (I had significant myopia that was difficult to correct, so obtained Lasik surgery.  Initially, the surgery corrected the myopia. Unfortunately, my eyesight worsened within six months, and one eye regressed much more than the other.  22 years later, I use contact lenses for a monovision correction:  better-seeing dominant eye is used for distance viewing; the non-dominant eye is used to read.)
