      I have been observing Song sparrows in the morning,  jumping into my spa , & flapping their wings for a few minutes , getting all wet, then getting out , & jumping right back in again, repeating this behavior 4-5 times in sequence. Is this normal behavior for song sparrows?

      good question, I have watched song sparrows in an area near a river / wetland and have never seen them go into deep water as I suspect your spa would be for them.  I have seen song sparrows walk into the water for a drink or to take a bath in the shallows of the wetland but never seen them go into deep water
