The male was on the top perch and the female under him. He reached down and she reached up to touch beaks. They did it another time sitting side by side. Why? It looked like a kiss!

Without knowing the species, it's hard to say for sure what the behavior was. But, given the time of year, it could be a type of courtship behavior!
