Jotting down some notes when you see a bird can really impact your birding skills. This helps me remember all the features of the bird and unique behaviors they might have. I highly suggest this to young or beginning birders, because some time our brains cant remember all the details. And it is super helpful to have some notes to look at, when you need them most you can also draw or create a comic strip about the bird. All these things will help you remember the birds characteristics. EXAMPLE:-----> Flicker-is mostly tan with black spots on belly large half circle shape of black feathers on chest reddish tail and red cheeks fly's in a up and down motion. Hope this helps you out!!!!:)You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
