        IMG_07841IMG_07881As you can see I am extremely new to bird watching and capturing their beauty . I'm from WV and had never seen this beauty until this past Sunday at the park with my toddler .....it was breathtaking in person. Your pics are gorgeous!!! What camera do you use?

        I love Bluebirds! I see them at my feeders once in a while. That is a great photo. I am new to the Bird Academy, and I am loving this so far!

    • Hi Sharon, That is a nice shot of a Prothonotary Warbler. They are fairly unique since they are cavity nesters. I love the dark eye on yellow. You may be happy to know that we have a Bird Photography course on Bird Academy coming out later this year. Melissa Groo is the instructor.

        @Kim These are wonderful. I’m about to read the flight chapter in the ornithology course, and I bet I’ll come back to look at that first photo. It’s beautiful; you can see exactly what the wings are doing. Where is the feeder? Is it in your yard? I love my backyard birds, but I have to say that if that’s your backyard, I am covering yours a little.
