hi! i have experience in wildlife rehab and i agree with the others telling you not to feed anything with mold on it to the birds! also be sure to clean your feeders and bird baths often, with a dilute bleach and rinse well with warm water.

I wouldn't feed anything with mold to the birds.

No. Moldy food is told to make finch's eyes (especially the House Finch) swollen. The best food is seeds. If you have insect-eating birds hanging around at your feeder, you should buy a mealworm mix or live/dried mealworms. (live mealworms work better, but is more expensive than dried, which is less attractive) Click here to buy a seed cake version: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pennington-Seed-Mealworm-Treat-Cake-Wild-Bird-Feed-1-4-lb/372742092?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=1721&adid=22222222277372742092_117755028669_12420145346&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-294505072980&wl5=9018570&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=372742092&wl13=1721&veh=sem_LIA&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2cWgBhDYARIsALggUhrQafkEVtltHEP7zWVIJ1EXouYLqYvb6nSRC6N9hr_BTe142oqw9EgaAnhdEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
