The diagram in this section does not convey the problem caused by low sampling rates because all three sample rates are fine for accurately capturing the wave shown in the diagram. A much better diagram would have a wave on the left that has 4 peaks (4 cycles), and the diagram would show that the samples taken at the lower rates make it look like the wave has 2 peaks (for the middle rate) and 1 peak (for the lowest rate).
