I'm enjoying the artwork here. I love photography and would love to see that here, too. These were two bee eaters in Botswana from a trip I took a couple years ago. I got lucky in that they were perched in the bright, morning sunshine and they stayed put for a very long time, allowing me to try many settings on my camera to get the shot right. -

here is my best piece I've done so far. I am definitely new here. I am still carefully reading everything in this app and ensuring I'm ready to become an avid ebird participant. I came across this community discussion group and I am very grateful I have an opportunity to share my artwork.

Digital paintings of a couple common visitors to our yard in San Diego, CA. Next up, the Western Bluebird. My family and I love using the Merlin app to identify birds in our garden.
When I have about 12 or so illustrations completed, I plan to make a printed book for my son and our neighbors.-
