Clarification: I'm interested in hearing less obvious ideas. I have multiple bird bath/drinking stations that I maintain regularly. However, I can't plant more trees/shrubs, etc. due to my folks having laid down cement nearly everywhere (Boo!). I'm trying to find a portable mister (in case there are watering restrictions this summer due to drought) as I think the hummingbirds will appreciate it! What are some things you do to help birds cool down during heat waves?
