      I have a Tascam DR-100mkIII recorder which I have only just begun using to record bird songs. When I record between the Wave 24 bit format and the mps3 192 format the recordings have the same good quality when playing again on the recorder. However when I uploaded these two files onto the Raven lite program (the same bird and time) the Wave 24 format is filled with static and noise although the sonogram appears accurate. The MP3 format is accurate for both the sound and sonogram. Any ideas on what is going on? Thanks, Mark

      Hi Mark, Sorry to hear that you're having some technical problems. Are you still seeing/hearing this problem with your .wav files? And have you seen the same problem in sound editing programs like Ocenaudio or Audacity? Matt Medler Macaulay Library
