A few times this summer, in early morning, I have heard what sounds similar to a Northern Saw-whet Owl.  I'm in the right habitat and area for them, but I haven't been able to actually locate and look at what animal is making this sound. I'm hearing a steady "to-to...to-to...to-to" sound that goes on and on, but that extra syllable that makes me unsure if it's really a Northern Saw-whet Owl. No video or audio link for this post.  Just hoping for ideas on what sounds similar? Thanks for any help :)
