      I'm in California and whenever I go to the beach I can't find the scooter ducks I don't know where they are

        What species of Scooter Duck are they. And what does the blue color mean on your picture mean.

        @Annabeth Blue is winter gray green is uncommon purple is year round yellow is migratory and orange is summer

        @Adrian You would most likely see them in winter since you live in California. Though I don't know the exact species.
