Birds pique my curiosity in so many ways. They are beautiful and clever, and I like to observe them and investigate why they do the things they do. As an editor/designer for Bird Academy, I try to make birds as interesting and exciting for our learners as they are to me. Good science communication is not just about the right words, it is about engaging design, fabulous photos (thank you Macaulay Library) and inspiring a sense of wonder.
