I am marketing manager at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Bird Academy! I help curate and create our promotional content, contests, surveys, and social media. In my day to day, I am usually creating email campaigns, gathering interesting content to share with our audiences, building out ads that are easy to read and fun to look at, or coordinating promotion efforts with partner organizations.

Bird Academy’s self-paced courses are a great way to get to know birds and the natural world from the comfort of your own home. At the moment, my favorite course to promote has been Be a Better Birder: Gull Identification.  There was just so much about gulls I didn’t know before!I began working at the lab in 2019 at the Visitor Center, and I still have a lot of love for the Cornell Lab’s museum exhibits and trails. My favorite bird is a Black-backed Dwarf-Kingfisher. What’s yours?
