I'm involved in a bird survey project and so when I can't be certain of the species, I would snap a few photos for later identification. This has led to an interest that goes beyond knowing which species the birds. So far I've been using Olympus EM-5II with 75-300 mm lens for its portability. Perhaps someday I'll upgrade to a DSLR to improve the quality of the images.
It was in the midday when the light was bright when I saw this Squaco Heron feeding in the artificial wetland where I conduct the survey. It was very lovely seeing it there.
