I wander how grass and plants stay green under several centimetres of snow and ice in winter. Perhaps they have some mecanism of adaption, as birds do, but I do not know. I noticed some tiny birds stay here in winter, and their tiny feet in the ice and snow seem not to bother them.

I loved this exercise. I usually spend time outside, enjoying, but it is not easy for me to draw. I can hear birds, thouh I do not always see them. I like the big trees and the colours of little plants above them.

I’m starting to feel a little more confortable with lights and shadows without color. I still think my drawings are too light.

1- Hi, I think, like many of you, that a Journal with drawings and paintings is something that I wanted to do since many years ago. I love birds, nature, and travelling. I use to made a journal of each journey, but mostly with notes, or some drawings trying to make a sketch of birds songs. a few times, from birds colours. I find it very hard to draw, but I love to write so I can remember details of the trip years later. The advertising of this course inspired me to get started. 2-I want to try them all :) I think that perhaps the idea of a monthly journa, while I'm at home, would be great. 3- No new ideas so far. I don't usually carry colors with me.
