Enrolling in a Course and Payment Errors

Pay for a course by credit card

1. Find a course you would like to enroll in from our course catalog.
2. Click on the Enroll Now button on that course’s page.
3. Review your cart and then click Proceed to checkout.
4. Enter your billing details (required even for free or $0 purchases).
5. Click Continue.
6. Enter your credit card number. The example numbers (1234 5678 9013 3456) will disappear as soon as you start typing – you don’t need to delete them!
7. Enter your expiration date and Card code (CVV or CVC) where indicated. Click Place order.

Pay for a course with a gift certificate or discount code

1. Find a course you would like to enroll in from our course catalog
2. Click on the Enroll Now button on that course’s page
3. Review your cart and then click Proceed to checkout
4. If you have any gift certificates (listed below AVAILABLE GIFT CERTIFICATES), click on them to apply them.
5. If you have any coupon codes from an email, they may be automatically applied, but if not, enter the coupon code in the coupon code box and click Apply Coupon.
6. Enter your billing details (required even for free or $0 purchases).
7. Click Continue.
8. Pay any remaining balance by credit card:
   1. Enter your credit card number. The example numbers (1234 5678 9013 3456) will disappear as soon as you start typing  – you don’t need to delete them!
   2. Enter your expiration date and Card code (CVV or CVC) where indicated.
9. Click Place order.

Error message while buying a course

• If you get a message saying some information was incorrect, just fix the error and click the Place order button again.
• If you get a message asking you to wait five minutes and try again, wait five minutes, reload the page, and click Continue, enter your card info, and hit Place order again.
